Mission and Purpose:

 The Black Parents United Foundation (BPUF) is a 501(c)3 community-based non-profit organization. Our mission is to educate in order to empower communities of color to lead.

Vision: At the Black Parents United Foundation (BPUF), we work to create a place where Black and Brown communities stand united, rooted in health, rising in power, and equipped with the resources to thrive 

UBUNTU = I AM BECAUSE YOU ARE

The Southern African word ubuntu comes from the Zulu and Xhola languages, and can be roughly translated as "humanity towards others."
